An excellent excursion incorporating unforgettable scenery and the famous Meteora Monasteries. The monasteries on the top of these spectacular, gigantic rocks give you the impression that they float and thus are named Meteora. We visit the largest and most impressive monastery, Grand Meteora and it’s collection of important manuscripts, icons and Holy relics. Time is given to photograph of the other monasteries and the magnificent views before continuing to Metsovo. This traditional village is located in the Zagoria National Park and situated at an altitude of 1156m. Famous for its gastronomical products (especially the cheese and the wine) you can enjoy a tour of the village with our guide and some lunch in one of the tavernas. The journey is one of the most scenic in Greece! Don’t forget your camera!

Discover the stunning Zagoria villages and National Park hidden in the Pindos Mountains. These tiny villages are made up of humble stone cottages and grand mansions that were once connected only by paths and old stone bridges. You will stop at Kipi to view some of these unique landmarks of the region before visiting Monodendri to enjoy the walk to the 15th Century monastery of Agia Paraskevi. Stunning views of the Vikos Gorge, renowned to be the deepest gorge in the world, are seen from our stop at Oksia, ‘the balcony of Vikos’. Explore the capital of Epirus, Ioannina on your return from the mountains. Famous for it’s handmade silverware and jewellery, this lakeside city was once the home of Ali Pasha, the notorious Turkish tyrant who ruled the area and his legacy remains around the city.

A wonderful and interesting trip to the neighbouring country of Albania. After a short stop at the border for passport control the trip passes through picturesque villages and endless fertile plains to a large lake. A ferry will take you over to the other side to see the ruins of the ancient city of Butrint. This UNESCO world heritage site brings ancient life alive with its enormous stone walls, the old gymnasium, the ancient temple of the Greek God Asclipius and the Baptistery from the Byzantine period. The guiding in the site is done by a professional guide. The coastal town of Saranda is our destination for lunch, after which you will have free time to explore a little. Take this opportunity to explore Albania! It’s worth it!

A day of mystery and adventure awaits you on this popular excursion which introduces you to the area surrounding Parga.
Our first stop is made at the seaside village of AMOUTHIA. Enjoy a short boat trip up the River Acheron (Styx) and hear the mythological legends from the boatman. Following lunch we continue with our river walk – taking in the natural scenery. You can take a leisurely walk along the pathway next to the river or (for the more adventurous) swim in the river itself !
Remember to bring along your swimwear, a towel and a change of footwear.
(Price includes boat trip and lunch).

Enjoy an evening in the picturesque resort of Sivota. Browse the selection of boutiques and jewellery stores, see the beautiful sunset and dine in one of the many tavernas in the harbour.
